Really had high hopes for this cheese spread but sadly it just wasn't anything special. As others have said it remained rather chunky and really didn't spread well at all. And the flavor was just so so. I tried to doctor it up with some mayo and other spices but no luck. I added what I wasn't able to eat to a macNcheese meal and it was great !

My wife’s family’s staple lunch on road trips was shredded spam and cheese salad. For our Kearsarge Pass trip this July we used two Spam singles, four tortillas, and one packet of cheese spread. Awesome throwback meal on the trail for two.

I discovered this from Youtuber David Gray, he raves about this. It is seriously good, excellent, complex flavor. I did find I have to let it soak longer than recommended, like 30 minutes and it is spreadable.

This was by far the biggest surprise. It was a dried cheese (could have been freeze dried) with spices. It took a while to rehydrate but was surprisingly good. I ate this for lunch with some crackers. Preparation: The preparation was simple. Add water, stir it up and let sit for 10 minutes. At 10 minutes it was still a bit crunchy but another 5 minutes cured that. Taste: The taste was very good with just a bit of spice, very cheesy. Wow, seriously! Very tasty. Used it on breakfast burritos, Big 'un Burritos, tortilla chips with the pico de gallo... A great addition to stave off taste boredom. Not that I've been bored with the flavor of any of the Packitgoutmet meals, but, well, you know what I'm sayin'.

Tasty and I plan on including this product in my menu for next year. 5 star flavor, but surprised by the larger cheese chunks. Unexpected but very good.

Great taste and texture, I added a touch to much water on the first (my fault) but corrected it on the second.
